We are looking for a talented and motivated AUDIT & ASSURANCE SENIOR MANAGER to join our growing team in our COLUMBUS location.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engages clients as the primary contact to ensure organizational effectiveness

Identifies and manages staffing and resources to fulfill client needs

Identifies cross-Practice Line opportunities for current and future engagements

Manages client expectations to meet and exceed expectations

Manages work in progress (WIP) effectively

Develops positive relationships with clients

Engages in business development with new and existing relationships

Participates and seeks out business development opportunities

Communicates work performance and outcomes to clients and internal team-members

Resolves conflict with team-members and clients as needed

Manages the change process throughout engagements and projects

Adheres to and follows Firm policies and procedures including but not limited to time entry, billing and collections, technology use, service methodologies, and human resources

Mentors and coaches team-members to assist with professional growth and performance management

Monitors and assesses team-member performance

Takes ownership for engagement profitability including billing and collections

Provides team-members with timely, accurate, and constructive feedback regarding performance

Identifies engagement and project resource needs and properly assigns qualifies staff-members as needed

Participates in Firm committees and activities

Promotes the Firm positively in the community and through professional organizations involvement

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

7+ years of public accounting or equivalent industry experience

3+ years of management experience

CPA certification in good standing

Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with both internal and external team members, as well as external client relationships

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

Demonstrated client relationship management as well as collaboratively within a team setting

Open to constant learning and training from other team members due to the ongoing diversity of client engagements

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Skills with investigating and analyzing source materials

Ability to organize and plan workflows with minimal supervision

Ability to direct and deploy staff

Proven leadership qualities in managing others, includes both internal team-members and external client relationships

Provides team-members with timely, accurate, and constructive feedback regarding performance
