The Senior Financial Analyst provides support with a variety of financial activities including forecasting, cash flow analysis and financial analysis on portfolio company results. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will actively participate in M&A processes, including initial assessment of deal opportunities, management of the deal pipeline, preparing and managing the leverage buyout model, and participating in the due diligence process and deal close under the direction of the Director of Strategy and M&A.


Reviewing company forecasts and challenging for reasonableness

Preparing discounted cash flow analysis

Preparing and managing leverage buyout models

Financial analysis on portfolio companies’ results

Development of the first drafts of investor communications

Development of the first drafts of investment committee decks

Development of the first draft of investment thesis for each investment

Management of the deal pipeline

Preliminary assessment of deal opportunities

Project managing portions of the due diligence process/ deal closings

Participating in due diligence

Networking with deal sources (Investment bankers, attorneys, bankers, etc.)

Work on special projects as assigned by the BMC Leadership Team

Perform other duties as assigned.



Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

3-5 years of experience in a finance or investment banking role

Ability to foster strong relationships

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented, well organized with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)


Experience with the M&A process
