We are looking for a talented and motivated BOOKKEEPER to join our growing team in our COLUMBUS location.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Bookkeeper who understands what operational excellence is and knows how to implement it within a variety of organizational settings. Our next Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for clients

Maintaining the chart of accounts and all general ledger activities

Completing month-end accounting close with account reconciliations and financial statement reporting

Completing budget vs. actual variance analysis

Performing all client payroll activities including on-boarding/off-boarding employees, maintenance of employee pay and withholdings, benefit administration, submission of all weekly payroll hours, and tax remittances

Learning the functionality of QuickBooks online, as well as various other accounting software that clients utilize

Problem-solving and works with client staff members to find missing data and work through issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks, and Intacct

Valid Driver’s license and/or access to transportation to various client locations, up to 1 hour from the home office location

Demonstrated client relationship management as well as collaboratively within a team setting

Desire to have fun with your work and to contribute to our unique company culture
