We are looking for a talented and motivated BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR to join our growing team in our COLUMBUS location.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator who is responsible for driving new revenue in our Columbus market for Brixey & Meyer. To name a few, this person is responsible for:
Prospects target companies with the objective of securing appointments
Focuses on sourcing, qualifying and converting leads
Identifies opportunities through daily outbound sales activities
Builds pipeline of prospects
Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing and other teams within the business
Assists with research, analytics and reporting
Identifies and develops relationships with top centers of influence in market
Represents Brixey & Meyer at specific events (i.e. Chamber events, trade groups, business journals, etc.)
Serves on community boards for non-profits and trade organizations
Helps in executing the strategic sales plan
Maintains competition analysis
Works with Marketing to develop materials to help Sales Team
Collaborates to develop internal and external event ideas
6+ years of proven success in a Sales function
Demonstrated ability to nurture relationships and generate new business
Strong communication skills and ability to make presentations at the C-level
Ability to work independently and generate new ideas
Experience in professional services preferred
Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to the business
Positive, team-oriented attitude
