We are looking for a talented and motivated AUDIT & ASSURANCE SENIOR to join our growing and talented team.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for the planning phase, execution of fieldwork, wrap-up and reporting on financial statement audit and review engagements preformed for clients of the Firm. Execution of such engagements will include leading a team made up of staff/senior level team members and effectively communicating with the team and assigning tasks to ensure the timely completion of the engagement. Additionally, this role will involve a mix of business advisory/consulting engagements as well as involvement with our CFO Services practice at times throughout the year.

You will be expected to perform routine duties independently, set priorities and schedule your own work in accordance with established and general policies and procedures. You are expected to show sound judgment, thoroughness, competence and ability to interact effectively with our clients and people of our Firm.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist in designing the approach for each assurance engagement to which you are assigned, and plan all aspects of the engagement

Take lead role in maintaining primary contact with key clients

Handle routine client matters and technical questions

Supervise multiple engagements and effectively assign work to team members of the appropriate skill level and oversee their progress on assigned tasks

Responsible for inspecting clients’ financial records, compiling and analyzing data, preparing detailed accounting reports and proposing solutions to technical accounting research issues

Analyze issues related to complex areas of clients’ Balance Sheets, Cash Flow and Income Statements

Develop and maintain contacts with business referral sources

Demonstrate commitment to the Firm’s philosophy by modeling appropriate behaviors and acting with respect and integrity in interactions inside and outside of the Firm

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.A. degree in accounting required, masters degree or continuing coursework is preferred

2 to 5 years of public accounting experience is preferred

CPA license or working to achieve that objective

Experienced technical skills in audit and accounting

Dedication to teamwork and leadership

Ability to direct and deploy staff consultants

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent client relationship and business development skills

Valid Driver’s License required

Safe driving record (DMV documentation required)
