We are looking for a talented and motivated TAX ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to join our growing team in our DAYTON office.


The Tax Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative support of the Tax Practice Line. This includes but is not limited to processing (not preparing) future and current client documents, organizing and locating critical paperwork/documentation, preparing various reports, and supporting the team as needed.


Processes paperwork and documentation related to the tax function

Releases tax returns and extensions via e-filing

Organizes and setting up new tax client files and ensure related digital setup is complete

Prepares a variety of weekly reports including but not limited to project status, staff assignments, and comparisons to the previous year

Organizes and mail Tax Compliance Engagement Letters and tax organizers to prospective and current clients as requested

Supports the Tax Department with various clerical/administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling conference calls, scanning/faxing documents, maintaining files and schedules, compiling data, prepare new hanging file folders for tax clients, sort & file permanent file folders in tax compliance file cabinets

Supports the Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to greet Firm guests and answer a multi-line phone system as needed


High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of reception/administrative assistant experience (or equivalent customer related ability)…legal or accounting administrative experience preferred

Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Process oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
