We are looking for a talented and motivated TAX MANAGER to join our growing team in our CINCINNATI location.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a tax manager to work on assignments across numerous industries. The Tax Manager will work on a variety of projects including tax consulting and tax compliance for business and individual tax clients. The Tax Manager will work closely with all of the firm’s service lines.
Bachelor degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years of qualified work experience based in public accounting.
Handles routine client matters and technical questions, and provides tax advice to clients of the firm.
Tax compliance proficiency including review of corporate, partnership/LLC, fiduciary and individual income tax returns.
Knowledgeable on corporate tax matters and flow through entities such as S corporations and partnerships/LLCs including issue identification and resolution.
Experience with family owned businesses and year-end tax planning.
Proficient with ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes.
Working knowledge of state income tax matters.
Excellent research and documentation skills.
Proven leadership qualities in managing others, includes both internal team members, as well as external client relationships.
Process oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to work both individually as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to provide training and public speaking in both internal and external settings.
CPA or equivalent certification is required.
Valid Driver’s License required
Safe driving record (DMV documentation required)
